During the trial of The trial of Nicolette and Hardus Lotter, and her boyfriend, Matthew Naidoo, for the murder of the siblings' parents a court in South Africa heard the motive for the double murder was to get a share of the inheritance.

Naidoo told his girlfriend and her brother how to kill her parents and that it was God's will they should die, according to statements made to police.

South Africa's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has instructed a TV commercial to be withdrawn as it could offend Christians.

The ad depicts angels falling from heaven because they are attracted to a man's deodorant.

Larry and Carri Williams, the couple refered to in this report, are accused of starving their adopted 13-year-old Ethiopian-born daughter and locking her outside in the cold, where she died from exposure.
