FLDS cult's presidency fight appears headed to court

Warren Jeffs Utah state officials are blocking any further attempts by rival church leaders to seize control of Warren Jeffs' polygamous FLDS sect, which likely means a judge will decide who is in charge.

While in jail awaiting trial on sexual assault and bigamy charges Jeffs recently re-assumed control of the sect's presidency. Last week an ousted leader filed a challenge to Jeffs' leadership, leading to a tug-of-war with the cult leader's loyalists.

Nepal Church Bomber Faked Repentance

Ram Prasad Mainali The chief of a militant Hindu extremist group sought to disguise his extortion and terror activities from behind bars by claiming he had repented of bombing a church in Nepal and showing interest in Christianity, according to investigators.

The revelation emerged when Nepal's premier investigation agency foiled a plot to explode a series of bombs devised by Ram Prasad Mainali, former chief of the Hindu militant outfit Nepal Defence Army (NDA), in the capital city of Kathmandu.
