Life Unexpected.....Conclusion Posted: 13 Jul 2010 06:39 AM PDT Bless the LORD, O my soul And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:1-5 I got the call from him. I heard that sweet and tender voice of his. He was all right and feeling better. We both praised God for His grace and His mercy. We thanked God for seeing Him through the surgery. We thanked God for Phil waking up. We thanked God for guiding the surgeons hands. We just thanked God for being the awesome Father that he is. As I was talking with Phil, the doctor came in and said the surgery was fine and the stint was doing it's job. He should be home in about a day or two! What a blessing! Praise the Lord!!! We talked for a few minutes longer as he was still a little groggy, yet his spirit was uplifted and the joy of the Lord had filled his soul. I told him how much I loved him and I made the solemn vow to tell him each and everyday how much I loved him and how much he meant to me. We take life for granted. We believe tomorrow is promised but it is not promised to us. Only God knows what tomorrow holds. That is why we must live for today. We must tell the ones we love how much we love them, today. We may never get the chance to do it again. Life is precious. Life is a precious gift from God. He holds the key to our life. We are blessed through the precious blood of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to have the precious gift of everlasting life with Him and our Father. Phil is doing well, still not 100% but we are praising our Lord for him still being above ground. We are praising our Lord that he continues to get stronger and stronger each day. He is taking a lot of meds, but that is all right. God has blessed us with doctor's who are not only Christian but they truly care about their patient's and Phil has received months of samples of the medications that he is taking. God truly provides. God truly will bring people into your life who will uplift, encourage and bless you. I can not begin to tell you how God has opened doors for us. How He has blessed us. Trust me when I say this, YOU CAN NOT MAKE IT THROUGH THIS WORLD WITHOUT JESUS CHRIST. There is no way it can be done. If it had not been for our faith in the Lord, we would not have made it. Our faith has increased leaps and bounds. I know that as long as I keep my faith strong in the Lord, everything will turn out all right. I pray that as you have followed this journey with me, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your savior and invited Him into your life you will. God said that our lives would not be easy, but it is a lot easier with Him and Jesus Christ guiding you every step of the way. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that God can not do. My prayer is that you will invite Jesus Christ right now into your life. It is easy. Just simply say, "Father, I admit that I have sinned against you and only you. I have not done right. I want to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I want Him to take control of my life. Father, I believe Jesus Christ died on the Cross for my sins. I accept Him now into my life. Thank you Father for loving me. Thank you Father for forgiving me. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN. If you have prayed this prayer, welcome to the family!!! I love meeting new brothers and sisters in Christ. Please let me know that you prayed this prayer. I will pray for you to grow stronger and deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ. I will be here for you. Be Blessed! ![]() |
