Posted: 23 Oct 2009 07:18 PM PDT For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20 (NIV) It has been a while since I posted on Fearless Friday. Fearless Friday is a meme started by Angela who authors Free Spirited Haven. You must visit her blog as she writes for the glory of God in ways which we all can relate to. Fearless Friday is a day when all Christian bloggers unite as one and stand in the gap for those in need of prayer. First, I would like to thank each and every one of my readers who stood in the gap for me and my husband. There is power in prayer and God is truly in the healing business. My husband is doing very well. His sugar, and blood pressure are now under control and closing in on the normal ranges. As for me, well you all know that I had a mammogram (2 of them) and a ultrasound because of 2 small spots found on my right breast. The nurse at my doctors office called me today and said the spots were not cancerous. Praise be to God! Oh how wonderful is our God. I still have to have another mammogram in 6 months, but she said this is to make certain that the spots have not gotten bigger. But, that there is no need to worry about them being cancerous! Amen! Thank you Jesus! So, if anyone reading this does not believe that God is in fact real, that He does hear and answer prayers, let me testify that He is Real! He does Exist! He does Answer prayer! On that note, I would like for all of us to pray for the women and men (yes, men can get breast cancer too) who have been told they have breast cancer, are being treated, have survived breast cancer or lost loved ones to breast cancer or any type of disease. Let us pray for everyone who has gotten bad news from the doctor. Let us pray simply for healing across the world! A beautiful prayer was posted in my comments and I would like for you to say this prayer with me. Thank you KingsKid777 for this beautiful prayer: (just fill in the blank with the name of the person you wish to pray for) My friends, there is POWER IN PRAYER. PRAYERS GO UP, BLESSINGS COME DOWN. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 |
