Amish Grace World Television Premiere

I do not know about anyone else, but I find it hard sometimes to find a good wholesome movie on television. Thank God for Lifetime which shows many Christian based films on their movie network.  Tomorrow a movie comes on entitled Amish Grace. It will air at 8 pm EST/5pm PT. I have read the book and it was awesome and I know the movie will be just as good as the book. Here is a little bit of what it is about and of course you can watch the preview above as well.

The peaceful Amish community of Nickel Mines is forever changed when a gunman senselessly takes the lives of five girls in a schoolhouse shooting before taking his own life.

What transpires afterward takes the community by storm, as the media descend on the town and criticize its Amish leaders for their notion of unconditional forgiveness of the shooter and their outreach of support to his widow, Amy Roberts (Tammy Blanchard). Devastated by her daughter's death, Ida Graber (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) finds herself struggling with her community's belief in the transcending power of forgiveness. Deeply conflicted and unable to forgive the gunman and his family, Ida is tempted to leave the only life she's ever known before re-embracing her faith.

Just the synopsis of what the movie is about is enough to get my interest!
The question I ask you is this: Can one truly forgive when a senseless crime such as a person killing innocent children in a schoolhouse happens?  On our own strength no but with God, yes
Will it happen overnight, in a week or month?  I cannot answer this question for you,  because I believe it depends on how deep your faith is in the Lord. As the Word of God says, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Can you believe this statement when something devastating happens in your life?
Forgiveness and Love is a enormous part of our Christian walk, yet when something happens which seems to tear our world apart, can we as followers of Christ truly forgive and love the ones who tore our world apart? It is easy to say, "yes" but when something unexpected and unexplained happens such as the death of a love one at the hands of another,  can we truly stand on the "yes, I can forgive and love them?" This is a question we must all ask ourselves and truly search our hearts for the answer.

I pray you will watch this movie as I am sure it will teach us a valuable lesson in forgiveness and love.

Don't forget:
