| Thank You Lord for My Vacation! Posted: 21 Mar 2013 09:14 AM PDT I am SOOOO thankful that God made a way for me to spend a whole week in Myrtle Beach! I can't remember the last time I was able to do something like this. God has truly blessed us! I arrived in Myrtle Beach last Friday and Marvin arrived on Saturday. We stayed at a beautiful resort called Compass Cove right on the ocean! The view from our balcony was spectacular! We also had the chance to take a bus down to Conway, SC to visit Marvin's old house where he grew up. He showed me all around his old neighborhood and I got to meet a few cousins and old friends. It was really nice seeing and hearing all of the old stories from way back when. Marvin always said he was a country boy and now I understand that alittle better. It seems like a sleepy little town with family values and it really tells me alot about what makes Marvin tick! Today is Thursday and we pull out of here tomorrow morning. I'm alittle tired of this hotel room, but I must say: I hate to leave here. Myrtle Beach is beautiful....  |
