8/29/2013: Challenge for Portuguese-speaking Church
Brazil: The Executive Secretary of ALEM, Pastor Jose Carlos Alcantara Silva directs this challenge to the Portuguese-speaking Church: "The Brazilian missionary movement urgently needs 500 new missionary teams to meet the internal transcultural demand of evangelism, translation of the Bible and planting churches." He continues by saying that there are still 150 languages in India without a single verse of Scripture; 700 languages in Central Africa and 300 in New Guinea. "Can God count on you?" he concludes. This challenge is for the entire world Church.

| My Health, My Life and My Family Posted: 07 Aug 2013 03:48 PM PDT I'm gonna stop and just take a minute to say how thankful I am to God for what He is doing in my life! In May of this year, Ramel and I were finally able to move out of our apartment complex that we lived in and hated for over 4 years. The devil was truly in charge there, but God kept me and my son safe while we lived there. It's wonderful to now live in a nice, clean and peaceful environment. I even have a patio I can sit on and not be bothered by anyone. Peace and quiet is a wonderful thing!! Marvin and I are still in love with each other and I thank God for him everyday! He is still living in NYC, but we are working on getting him here by the end of the year. God will make it happen when the time is right. We both just want to keep him first in everything that we do so that He will continue to bless our union. YES, marriage is on the horizon!!  It's also hard for me to believe that Ramel is on his way to the 11th grade this year!! My little baby is a teenager and in a few years he will be 16! God has kept him safe through everything and I am so proud of him. He is a good kid and I couldn't have asked for a better child. I am truly blessed!!  Thank you Jesus for everything! My life, my health and my family. You are truly good and I don't know where I would be without You!   |
