Yes Lord!

Posted: 06 Aug 2010 09:32 AM PDT

Although I do not see hope with my natural eyes, my spiritual eyes says, "THERE IS HOPE".
When I believe I can not find a way out, a way out comes.
When I can not see through the darkness, a light comes shining through.
When my burdens are heavy upon my shoulders, in a moment they become light.
When I feel as if I can not go on, somehow, somewhere the strength appears for me to continue.

Where does it come from? Better yet, WHO do they come from?
I know it is not of my own doing. So, Who? Where?

I hear a voice. A still, small, quiet and peaceful voice saying,

"Am I not your Hope
Am I not your Way Maker
Am I not your Light that shines within you?
Am I not your Burden Bearer
Am I not your Strength"?

I know this voice. I know the power behind this voice.

Is it?

Could it be?

Yes! It is Jesus Christ speaking directly to my soul! Yes, it is my Lord and Savior reminding me that I can not make it through this world without Him! I need Him every moment, every second, every hour of the day! I need Him!

I begin to cry. I try to speak. The words can not come out. All I can do is fall to me knees and cry. All I can do is say in my mind, "yes Lord".

Even though there are worries, pains, hardships and trials  all around me, my soul, my soul, my soul still says, "Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Lord"!

Be Blessed!

Church of the Universe seeks exemption to pot laws

Cannabis Canadians are as good at religious tolerance as they are at hockey, a lawyer for members of a branch of The Church of the Universe argued Tuesday.

Lawyer Paul Lewin said based on that Canadian tolerance, if marijuana is religious to some — as he feels the defence has proven — Toronto's G-13 Mission of God should be shut out of Canada's marijuana laws.

It isn't clear yet if that argument has scored with the judge presiding over the charter challenge by two members of the Church of the Universe busted for drug charges back in 2006.

Cultic Groups Stalk Harvest Crusade Attendees

cults When Lynn's son Bryce went to the annual Harvest Crusade, a Christian music and evangelism event, she had no way of knowing he would be lured into a cultic group known as the Twelve Tribes.

As Lynn discovered to her dismay, behind the quaint "freepapers" and homespun clothing is a religious system marked by exclusivism, racism, manipulation, and the spiritual domination of a man who calls himself "Yoneq."

Seventh-day Adventists are among the other groups that chase down Crusade attendees.

Abundant Comfort and Grace

Posted: 04 Aug 2010 11:03 AM PDT

I am so rejoicing right now! My dear sister in Christ and beloved friend, Connie Arnold has authored another beautiful and inspirational book of poetry. I have had the pleasure of reviewing her two former books, Abiding in Hope and Love and Beautiful Moments of Joy and Peace. Both were a blessing to read. Now, I am blessed to have read  her latest gift of poetry, Abundant Comfort and Grace.

Abundant Comfort and Grace is absolutely beautiful. It is one book of poetry that you will read over and over and over again as I have. In the hectic times we are living in right now, Connie's latest book, Abundant Comfort and Grace will bring hope back to a hopeless situation. It will bring you peace of mind. It will calm and sooth your soul. It will bring the life back into your spirit. But most of all, her words pierce your mind and soul and reminds you that in the midst of all the chaos in your life, God is right in the midst of it with you.

It is easy for us to focus on our problems and not the PROBLEM SOLVER. It is easy to forget about the ONE who is more than able to handle all of our cares and worries. Connie's beautiful book reminds you that God is the God of all comfort and grace. Her words speak directly to you and your situation. Her words bring you comfort, hope, joy and peace. In reading her latest book, I was reminded of what Paul, an apostle of God, wrote,."Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). God also tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9,"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Connie's words allows you to see that she to has suffered many hardships and pains. Connie's words allows you to see that through every hardship and through all the pain, God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ saw her through.

Here is an excerpt of one of her poems ( it is not the whole poem as I  want you to get her book and read the entire poem):

Help Me to See

The signs of your grace,
Lord, please guide my feet
To find my way through
Obstacles I may meet,
Showing me what to do.
Help me see good things
You've sent from above,
The blessings life brings,
The gift of your love.

I pray that you will purchase Connie's latest book. You will know and believe without a doubt that our God  is truly the God of Abundant Comfort and Grace.

Connie, my sister and my friend, I pray your book much success. I pray it brings an abundance of comfort and grace to all who read your book. I can testify that your beautiful gift of poetry has truly blessed me. I pray the gift God has given you will continue to bring joy, hope, comfort and peace to others. God bless and keep you my sister and my friend. I am anxiously awaiting your next book of poetry.

Please leave a comment to be entered into drawings at the end of the tour for a free copy of Connie's first book, Beautiful Moments of Joy and Peace, and a $10 Amazon gift certificate.  There will be an additional drawing for a $25 Amazon gift certificate from those purchasing Abundant Comfort and Grace, either from Connie's website, http://www.conniearnold.webs.com/ using PayPal or check, or from RPJ & Company (http://www.rpjandco.com/) or Amazon and contact Connie with confirmation of purchase.
